We work within all communities, encouraging citizens from all walks of life to assist us with our can-collecting efforts through our Cash for Cans initiative.

Collect-a-Can pays Cash for Cans based on the market value of the metal, its weight, the type of cans, the quality of the cans, whether the cans are sorted and whether the cans are bailed.

Did You Know?

There are approximately 72 aluminium beverage cans in one kilogram, and approximately 32 steel beverage cans in one kilogram.

Once collectors have collected a large amount of cans, the cans can be exchanged for cash at the closest Collect-a-Can branch.
